We have begun to combine our two specialties - Drawing and photography - in 2007 on a book project footprint Japanese Criteria published by Editions in June 2009.
end of 2007, we had one of our many discussions about l! evolution of women's rights since the 70 recurrent theme of our concerns, during which a matter became more central: How did our great mothers at our age?
From here stems the following: How had they lived their teenage years? According to what values they had raised our fathers and mothers? How have they gone through history? What will remain there with their experience once extinct?
We thought about the fact that their time, they did not have all the rights that our generation (early thirties) has benefited through the sexual revolution of May 1968. By referring the matter around us and in us documenting, it seemed that young women TODAY! Hui did not fully realize that these rights n! had not always been embodied in the laws, that women before they had taken risks to defend the right of all others, and we inherit all of these struggles.
This finding made us want to interview the young generation d! French women around us, ranging from 15 to 20 years, and ask directly a number of questions about this heritage and their first steps into womanhood: What do you think about contraception and the abortion? What kind of life you dream of having? ...
