Living with his age
It is common to encounter a (e) or even several hundred years old in a retirement home. According to demographers, they should be about 60,000 to have crossed this age symbolism in France in 2050, four times more than today (source INED).
What's our attitude about these great old? What do they look, in turn, on their very long life and a society that has changed so much since their younger years? How and why do they continue to live when the forces are gradually leaving, they have to face the addiction, that all their friends, relatives and sometimes even their own children are dead?
only 5% of centenarians can continue to live alone at home. The other, less physically live in nursing homes or with a parent who takes care of them.
